7月6日晚，鄂州遭遇强对流天气袭击，短时间内狂风大作、暴雨如注，导致城区多处出现险情。面对极端天气考验，鄂州消防闻警即动、快速响应，连续处置多起车辆人员被困、构筑物坠落及电线起火等紧急警情。
20时02分，鄂城区莲花山神州租车门店附近遭遇强风暴雨，导致路边树木和电线杆折断，2辆小轿车被倾倒的树干和线杆压住。车内被困人员因担心漏电及二次倒塌，迟迟不敢下车。消防员到场确认无漏电风险后，迅速清理障碍物，将被困者安全转移。
7日0时30分，鄂城区政府旁道路因大风天气行道树倒伏，阻断道路通行存在安全隐患，群众拨打求助电话请求清障。指挥中心调派古城路消防站赶赴现场，消防员到场对现场进行安全勘察，使用工具切割清理倒伏树木，及时清除路面障碍物，恢复道路正常通行。

7日8时25分，鄂城区化工小区楼顶太阳能热水器被大风吹落，群众紧急求助。指挥中心调派葛山大道特勤站前往处置，消防员到场设置警戒区域，稳妥拆除悬挂设备，彻底消除高空坠物安全隐患。
