1px;">新农牛肉起源于原汉阳县新农镇（现为蔡甸区蔡甸街道）。早在明清时代新农镇就有利用当地水牛制作卤牛肉的传统。上个世纪七十年代，新农镇出现以经营卤牛肉为主的品牌店铺，其中新农镇肖氏总结当地卤制经验，形成了独特的卤制配方，至今已传承了四代，形成了以郭汉桥等为主的传承人群体。21世纪以来，武汉新农牛肉卤制品有限公司在继承前人的基础上，对卤制配方特点进行总结、改良，逐步形成了品牌专有的秘制配方。</span></p><p 1px;">新农牛肉肉质以“干、香、结、甜”为主要特色，主要采用水牛后腿肉作为五香牛肉的原料，不使用任何防腐剂。通过采用特有的后熟工艺和秘制卤料，使新农牛肉水分低，久放不变质，肉质纹路清晰自然，香味不散失，口感韧性十足。与其他卤牛肉的咸辣口味不同，新农牛肉则是甜辣口味为主，肉质口感由香甜到香辛料特有的咸甜再到最后牛肉本味的回甘，在口腔中延绵流长，三种甜味层次分明。</span></p><p
