wrap;">彩鹮生活习性表明，它们栖息于浅水湖泊、沼泽、河流、水田等区域，有时和体型相似的白鹭等混群。白天在地面活动，夜晚在树上休息。在水边觅食，边走边将嘴插入稀泥或浅水中探寻食物，也在跑动中追捕猎物，主要吃水生昆虫、软体动物等。这种鸟类在全球广泛分布，从欧亚大陆南部、非洲、大洋洲至美洲大西洋沿岸，呈间断块状分布。在中国不规则出现。</p><p style="text-wrap:
