border-box;">沉湖湿地位于武汉市蔡甸区西南部，是武汉市最偏远、贫穷的地区，也是血吸虫疫区、革命老区。冯江就是在这里的基层站点从事湿地保护、科研监测和宣传教育工作。他是第一个入驻站点的工作人员，克服语言、饮食、交通、生活、家庭等诸多困难，结束了基层有站无人的历史。</p></section><section style=" text-align: border-box;">在沉湖湿地扎根15年里，他每天白天骑车或步行进行巡护监测，夜晚自学鸟类学、植物学、生态学、湿地等相关知识，久而久之，对沉湖地形地貌、植物分布、鸟类生活习惯了如指掌，甚至能够闻声识鸟，被同事们称为“行走的鸟类图鉴”。</p><p style="white-space: normal;box-sizing: border-box;"><br border-box;">沉湖湿地拥有丰富的鸟类资源，为了让国际社会认可沉湖湿地的国际重要意义，2013年，冯江根据多年的监测数据和收集整理的资料，负责编写申报材料，充分证明了沉湖湿地候鸟具有国际重要性，最终沉湖湿地被列入国际重要湿地名录，百湖之市的武汉市有了唯一的国际重要湿地。</p></section><section style=" text-align: border-box;">他也是最熟悉保护区的人，跑遍了保护区内的所有乡镇、村组和单位，是保护区的活地图。为了将绿色政策落实好，将生态补偿资金合理发放到户，冯江走遍了涉及补偿的2家国有单位、5个街乡、22个行政村，克服诸多困难，多次上门向相关利益方宣传政策、督促相关利益方签订协议，将政策落实，让群众受惠。</p><p style="white-space: normal;box-sizing:
